A unique development of four holiday homes nestled in the converted stableyard of a Georgian Country House with an early 19th century castellated mill building providing an imposing backdrop. Flanked on one side by the River Barrow and on the other side by the Grand Canal, and accessed only by a metal drawbridge, this serene setting is virtually an island.

This charming, idyllic location enjoys the benefit of extensive lawns and woodland with many mature chestnut, lime and beech trees.

These beautiful four star homes are designed with the emphasis on comfort and convenience. Furnished and fitted to a very high standard throughout offering a choice of accommodation in two bedroom and one bedroom styles with unique, individual charm. All holiday homes have balconies and private furnished patios.

The Mill Holiday Homes, located in South Kildare, are 6 miles from the market town of Carlow and 4 miles from the heritage town of Athy, providing an ideal touring base with the Wicklow Mountains, Glendalough, Dublin and the medieval city of Kilkenny all within easy reach. Kilkea Castle and Golf Club is 7km away while all horse racing tracks are within easy reach including those at The Curragh (30km), Naas (40km) and Punchestown (50km).

There is a wonderful choice of leisure activities and facilities in the immediate and surrounding areas catering for all tastes.
