ACCOMMODATION:

This four star self-catering accommodation is tastefully decorated throughout with the emphasis on high quality furnishings.

The entrance hall with its high ceiling creates a wonderful sense of space and light, a theme that is carried throughout the rest of the house.

Attention to detail is evident, as each room is tailored to maximise comfort, all of which guarantees an enjoyable and relaxing stay

FACILITIES:

The house is more than 4000 square feet in size and surrounded by large enclosed gardens. Rated as four star by Fáilte Ireland, the house consists of five bedrooms, two doubles, a twin and 2 singles, two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, an office, dining room, drawing room and large hall.

ATTRACTIONS AND AMENITIES:

The local area is rich in local activities including golfing, fishing, horse riding and hill walking. Two championship courses at Killerig and Mount Wolseley are located closeby while Carlow, Kilkea , Rathsallagh and Mount Juliet are also within easy reach.

Tullow town, the principal town in north Co. Carlow is located in the River Slaney Valley in the midst of rich, fertile agricultural land. Tullow reflects an enduring historical culture with many items of antiquity including an ancient holed stone "Cloch a Phoill" (Ardristan), a pre-historic ring fort (Rathgall) and a prehistoric burial place (Bawnoge). Tullow is also the ancestral home of the famous Wolseley family - Frederick York Wolseley gave his name to the Wolseley car. It is known locally as the granite town because of its magnificent stone approach roads as well as its granite public buildings.

How to find us:

From Dublin
 
Follow the M50 South through Toll Plaza and take the second exit off the Motorway onto the N7 Southbound. Take the N9 Southbound to Carlow/Waterford. On exiting Castledermot,  take the Tullow turn off. When you arrive in Tullow go straight into the town center. Take a left turn at the bridge and drive through the town. Now follow the directions from Tullow given below.
 
From Rosslare

Take the N25/N11 and go past Enniscorthy. A couple of miles past Enniscorthy take the N80 turn off to Carlow. Drive through Bunclody and before you reach the town of Ballon you will see the turn off for Tullow. On reaching Tullow follow the intructions below

As you leave Tullow on the N81, there is a Nissan garage on the left, It is exactly 1 mile from there to the Healy household. You will recognise their house by the old style milk stand on the right hand side of the road. Here you will be greeted by Carmel or Jim and escorted to Rathlyon house.
