Kilgraney House is a charming late Georgian house overlooking the Barrow Valley, situated halfway between Carlow Town and Kilkenny City. The house takes its name from the Irish "cill greine" which means "sunny hill" or "sunny wood".

Carefully restored granite courtyard suites overlooking a medicinal herb garden, situated halfway between Carlow town and Kilkenny City. Each suite is designed in a modern country style using natural materials and finishes. White oak floors, leather sofas, slate tables, stainless steel appliances, mellow painted wood kitchens with granite worktops, comfortable beds with white bedlinen and fresh modern bathrooms with mosaic tiles all create a sense of space and style. Serene and peaceful setting, wander amid five acres of garden, lawn, woodland, vegetable gardens and orchard. Explore the wonders of the Barrow River Valley with beautiful river, hill and mountain walks nearby. Dinner, a six course table d'hote menu, available at Kilgraney House. Herbal treatments, holistic massage, aromatherapy and reflexology available at Kilgraney House by appointment.

New to Kilgraney are its fabulous herb gardens, consisting of a series of interconnecting herbal gardens with a large kitchen garden, a tea walk, a medicinal herb courtyard, a medieval monastic herb garden and a garden of aromatic and fragrant herbs.
