Avlon House a traditional Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Carlow town. We invite you to visit us any time to see the product offered first hand. Avlon House bed & breakfast, a Town house of charm and character, with private car parking, offers visitors a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the Town, yet it is only a few minutes stroll from the heart of this Market town that is our county capital. The house was sensitively constructed & decorated in 2007 to include modern creature comforts. Bedrooms are decorated with traditional furnishings and have spacious elegant en-suite, power showers, direct dial telephones, hair dryers, trouser press, Tea coffee facilities broadband access and multi channel televisions. Toiletries, Mineral water, ect are supplied with our compliments. You are assured of a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the warm and cozy guest lounges where open fires await you weather your browsing through the books or catching up with your favorite soap on TV. Guests awaken to the smell of freshly cooked local foods. Breakfast served in our well appointed dining room is leisurely and relaxed between 7-10 each morning. A full breakfast menu is provided which changes with the season, and always includes vegetarian dishes. Shopping centres, Restaurants, Bars & the public transport systems are within easy walking distance; we are an ideal base, if working in town, exploring the city or the south east of the country. It is important to us that you enjoy your stay and if you have any particular needs let us know. For us, sharing our home with you is a special treat, and with only four guest bedrooms, we will always have time to talk to you. After almost 20 years operating in Carlow’s accommodation sector we personally guarantee the product is among the best in town & our rates represent exceptional value for the high quality of accommodation we provide. Rates for 2008 ~ Direct Booking by Phone or on Website Price per person sharing Mid Week Rate €40.00 Child rate sharing with 2 Adults €30.00 Single Occupancy Mid week €50.00 Cancellation policy 48hrs in advance of arrival, outside this the cost of first nights accommodation is due in full and will be charged to your credit card or taken from deposit. If check in time is going to be later than 6pm on due date please advise Avlon house reservations. Rates are shown in Euros and include Government sales tax @ 13½% & breakfast from our menu Avlon House bed and breakfast is a small premises and cannot accept stag or hen parties, please do not book as refusal on the day causes upset all round.
